Terms of Use

The terms that govern your use of the Stockivio platform.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Stockivio platform, website, and services provided by Stockivio Technologies Private Limited ("Stockivio", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to these Terms in full.

If you are using Stockivio on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

1. Account Registration and Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age and a registered business or self-employed professional to use Stockivio
  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current registration information including your GSTIN where applicable
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • You must immediately notify us of any unauthorised access to your account at security@stockivio.com
  • One account per entity unless you are subscribed to a multi-branch or enterprise plan

2. Subscription and Payment

  • Stockivio is offered on a subscription basis with plans billed monthly or annually
  • Prices are inclusive of applicable GST unless otherwise stated
  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period
  • You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings
  • Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the 14-day trial period
  • Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
  • Overdue accounts may be suspended after 7 days and terminated after 30 days of non-payment

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Stockivio to:

  • Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities including GST fraud, money laundering, or tax evasion
  • Store or process data that violates any applicable law, third-party rights, or Stockivio's policies
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or any code intended to damage or interrupt the platform
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account, or data
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Stockivio platform
  • Use automated scripts or bots to scrape or stress-test the platform without written authorisation
  • Resell, sublicense, or make the Services available to third parties without written authorisation

4. Your Data

  • You retain all ownership of the business data you input into Stockivio
  • You grant Stockivio a limited licence to store, process, and back up your data solely for the purpose of providing the Services
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of data entered and for maintaining your own backups where legally required
  • You can export all your data at any time in CSV or Excel format
  • Upon account termination, your data is available for export for 60 days before permanent deletion

5. Service Availability

  • We target 99.9% monthly uptime (Business plan) and 99.5% (Starter plan) excluding scheduled maintenance
  • Scheduled maintenance will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance
  • We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control (force majeure, ISP issues, AWS outages)
  • Service credits for SLA breaches are available as described in our SLA policy

6. Intellectual Property

  • All Stockivio software, code, trademarks, and content are owned by Stockivio Technologies Private Limited
  • You may not use our trademarks without written permission
  • The Stockivio name, logo, and product names are registered or pending trademarks
  • Feedback you provide may be used by Stockivio without restriction or compensation

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Stockivio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied
  • We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities
  • Our total cumulative liability for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including loss of profits or data
  • We are not responsible for errors in GST filings resulting from incorrect data entered by you

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stockivio Technologies, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of the Services, or your violation of any third-party rights.

9. Termination

  • Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days' written notice
  • We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms
  • Upon termination, your access to the Services ends, but your data remains available for export for 60 days

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka. For disputes below ₹10 lakh, we encourage resolution through our formal dispute resolution process before initiating legal proceedings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days' notice. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
